Abstract
The socialization of university library's service is the necessary requirement of the times of the knowledge-based economy under the conditions of the market economy. The popularization of the Internet, which makes the literature resources of the library extend to the whole network breaking through the limitation of traditional holdings, provides technical and physical conditions for the socialization of its service. Based on correctly handling the relation between the traditional service and the socialized service, extending the service functions of university library, renewing the service conception, and continuously perfecting the means and models of the socialized service are the main contents of the management of university library in the future.
