Abstract
A correct method of energy loss coefficients for centrifugal pumps is proposed. In the method, energy loss coefficients are integrated into multi-condition performance calculation model of centrifugal pumps and global optimization algorithm are used to solve multi-condition performance calculation model of centrifugal pumps. Each loss coefficient of performance calculation model for a centrifugal pump whose specific speed is 92.7.Simultaneously,seven impellers with different blade outlet angles, blade outlet width and blade number are designed and made.Comparison results between hydraulic performance data and test data show that all errors are less than 4%,which proves to be feasible.Research results can improve the accuracy of multi-condition hydraulic optimum design.
