Abstract

The concept of national park has received positive responses from over 150 nations across the world.National park is a precinct with multi-objectives such as guaranteeing recreation citizenship,civil sharing on nature heritages,protecting natural and ecological environment,cultivating national identity and so on.It has grown to be an effective development model of sustainable nature-based tourism(SNT).The paper analyzes the model of Yosemite national park with the binding of nature protection movement,community participation and strong institution,and the one of Koli national park with combination of environmental education and eco-label enforcement,and illustrates that the cultivation of sustainable environment ethnics and tourism regulation are significant for the SNT,which provide references the national park program in China.
