Because agriculture itself has some weak points,the developed countries will work out some protection policies for their agriculture when their economic development has reached a certain level.These policies usually include the following:market access,price support,transfer payment,investment in public products,control of the rural eco-environmental pollution,available agricultural information and loans and insurance as well as the related research and popularization,which aims to protect the farmers'interests,the interests of the consumers of agricultural products,the rural eco-environment and the balanced regional development.The study of the agricultural protection policies of the developed countries can shed some light on the enactment of China's agricultural policies.
