Abstract
In the novel Red Mansion Dreams, many classical allusions from popular objects reflect the historical background, laws and regulations, social customs and even the author's artistic intention. In this paper, the writer investigates and elucidates some of the allusions in the novel not only to make it easy for many readers to understand and appreciate them but also to produce some good methods for the study of Red Mansion Dreams.
