Abstract

The Bootloader(boot load program)is the first piece of software that executes on a processor imediately after the embedded system CPU power up.It links the specific hardware flat with the Linux kernel,and is very important for following software development of embedded system.PPCBoot is a powerful Bootloader.The porting method,process and porting main feature of PPCBoot in an embedded system board based on the MPC8250 CPU are analyzed.
