Abstract
Based on the triazene reagent, a new chromogenic reagent\_\_2,6-dibromo-4-carboxylbendiazoaminoazobenzene is synthesized. Its structure is identified by means of elemental analysis and infrared spectrophotometry. Its physical characteristics, chemical characteristics, Uitraviolet absorption spectrum, acid dissociation constant and characteristics contrast of chromogenic reaction with Cd(Ⅱ) are also studied.
