Wild flower resources in Xiaolongmen Forestry Park of Beijing and its application in landscape

With high ornamental value,strong resistance,simple cultivation and management,wild flowers are being developed gradually.In order to provide more wild flowers of high ornamental value for landscaping,the author carried out a field investigation of wild flowers in Xiaolongmen Forestry Park,found 62 species belonged to 24 families and 54 genera.Based on the morphological characteristics and ornamental characteristics of wild flowers,their landscape application forms were mainly for flower beds,flower border,rock garden,vertical greening and cut flowers and so on.Moreover,from a long-term perspective,the rational development of wild flowers should combine development and protection together and strengthen introduction and domestication.In this way we can achieve the purpose of rich botanical garden plant resources and better services for the urban landscape construction.
