Features of volcanic rocks and the prospecting direction of rock gold in the upper Heilongjiang

The study area is located in the middle of the upper Heilongjiang fault basin,the distribution of Mesozoic volcanic rocks are extensive,and there are 12 rock gold deposits(points) related to Mesozoic volcanic activities.The volcanic rocks of Tamulangou and Shangkuli formation are ore body mark of the ore-forming.The three periods of volcanic rocks belong to the alkali-complex series and featured by rich Zr,Ti,Cr,P and light REE.The alteration remark of exploration include silicification,sericitization,chloritization,pyritization,chalcopyritization,galenitization and limonitization.The intersection part of faulted basins and nappe structure margins or volcanic belt,the intersection part of NE or NNE strike fault with others and ring-shaped and radial fault around volcanic mechanism are favorable sites for gold precipitated.
