Abstract
Toxicity Test on the Effect of 65% chlorpyrifos for mulberry on silkworm rearing indicated that the silkworms got acute poisoning death resulting from fed with the mulberry leaves after 3~5days of sprayed 1000~4000 × chlorpyrifos. The more pesticide concentration was high, the more poisoning death rate was high after 6~8 days sprayed. The poisoning death instar of the silkworm would postpone with the concentration decreasing and shown accumulating poisining. The poisoning was lighter of the chlorpyrifos for mulberry than that ordinary one on the same effective dose. There were no significant difference of silkworm vitality and cocoon quality between the treatment and control after 14~16days sprayed. The safe period of 2000× 65% chlorpyrifos was 15~20days for spring and 20~25days for autumn respectively.
