On the Environmental Protection of and Protective Measures for Highway Construction

Abstract
The various causes for a series of environmental problems from highway construction are analyzed, and some measures of environment protection in highway design, construction and maintenance are also put forward in the paper, which points out that full play should be given to the environmental protection functions of each of the highway components in the course of highway design and construction and transport managing, so as to ensure the functions of highways in transportation and the active influence on highway environment.
