Abstract
The increased of economic globalization strengthens the importance of international trade on economy.More attention is given to the relationship between international trade and economic growth.The paper classifies international trade into processing trade and general trade and explains how international trade stimulates economic growth.The sampled data from 1981 to 2002 indicates the importance of general exporting trade and manufacturing importing trade in promoting national economy.
