Countermeasure on Improving Whole Economic Benefit of Northwest Power Grid

Implementation of hydraulic thermal power mutual compensation, and hydro interbasin compensation dispatch has created huge economic benefit for power enterprise in the past by taking the advantage of characters of thermal hydraulic power plant distribution. With the reform of power grid management system and change of power demand supply, some new problems have occurred in grid operation and brought detrimental effect for optimal dispatch and reasonable resource configuration. Starting with the development of Northwest power grid, in the light the problems in network operation, the basic reform ideas on how to realize reasonable resource configuration, improve whole economic benefit of Northwest power network are set forth by combining dispatch management practice in recent years.
