Abstract

Objective To observe the clinical effect and safety of Edaravone in treatment of acute cerebral infarction. Methods 48 patients with acute cerebral infarction were randomly divided into 2 groups, treating group(n=24)and control group (n=24) .Treatment group was given therapy of Edaravone combined with low molecular weight heparin. Control group was given therapy of ginkgo dipyidamolum combined with low molecular weight heparin. Results After treatment, the total effective rate in the treatment group was significantly higher than that in the control group (P0.05); The neurological deficit score of treatment group was significantly improved (P0.05) . The content of serum SOD for treatment group was significantly higher than control group (P0.05) . The content of serum MDA for treatment group was significantly lower than control group (P0.05) .Conclusion Edaravone with low molecular weight heparin in treatment of acute cerebral infarction can improve neurological deficits, clinical application is safe and effective.
