Clinical analysis on 126 cases of postpartum hemorrhage patients

Objective To analyze the clincal reasons and therapeutic measures on postpartum hemorrhage disease,explore the precautionary measures,and to reduce the occurrence and death rate of postpartum hemorrhage.Methods Restrospective analysis was made on 126 cases of postpartum hemorrhage prtients who admitted our hospital from Janury.2000 to October.2008.Results Reasons among 126 cases of pospartum hemorrhage patients,99 cases were due to uterine atony,12 cases were resulted from placental factors,8 cases due to the trauma in lower genital tract,one case was induced by coagulation dysfunction.Among 125 cases,122 cases were cured with comprehensive medication,including operation for cleaning the uterus,4 of them dead.4 cases accepted uteretomy and were cured.Conclusion The dominant reason of postpartum hemorrhage is uterine atony.The second and other reasons are respectively placental factors,the trauma in lower genital tract and coagulation dysfunction.Sometimes there are several of above reasons on a same patient.Most of postpartum hemorrhage can be cured by comprehensive medication and operation for cleaning the uterus.If other therapeutic measures fail,it is necessary to select uterectomy to save the patient's life.To prevent postpartum hemorrhage,it is very important to make prepartum examination carefully,select parturient way correcty,deal with uterine inertia and retained placenta positively,and control accompanying diseases effictively.
