Abstract

By using inorganic salts sodium hydrogen sulfate etal as the catalyst, acetate and ethanol reacted to form ethyl acetate. The optimum conditions using 0.2 mol of ethanol are as following: molar ratio of ethanol to acetic acid is 1:1.5, mass of catalyst is 1.2g,the reaction temperature is 94 ± 2℃ , and the yield of ethyl acetate could reach 82.95%.
