Discussion on the Comprehensive Evaluation Index System for Urban Water Environment System

Establishing the comprehensive evaluation index system is valuable for correctly understanding the status and trends of urban water environment, assessing government performance in urban water environment governance and analyzing the impact of the urban to the watershed. The particularity and complexity of urban water environment system and its evaluation system were analyzed, the ideas and principles for the construction of a scientific and rational comprehensive evaluation index system were discussed, and the framework of urban water environment evaluation index system including the indexes of progress, effort and contribution was proposed in this paper.
