The Beginning and Evolution of Non-official Biography

Abstract

Non-official biography is opposite to official biography. Its style coming into being and separated from official biography should attribute Liu Xiang's creating Biography of Females, Biography of Males and so on. Since that, the writing of non-official biography has become flourishing gradually. Non-official biography becomes divided in the Tang Dynasty in two directions. 
