Abstract
In order to measure the displacement and strain fields as well as their evolution in the process of deformation localization of concrete specimens under four-point-shear loading,single-notched beam and double-notched concrete beam were used.CCD camera was used to collect data of speckle fields. Then a new optics method,i.e.,digital speckle correlation method, was used to treat speckle fields.Distribution of displacement and strain fields was obtained, and their evolution process was investigated. Results indicate that the digital speckle correlation method is an effective experimental method for studying characteristic of damage and rupture of concrete structures. It provides a new way for research of deformation localization and measurement of micro constructive parameter of concrete structures.
