Abstract
Three files declassified at present, which was about Eisenhower Administration's policy on outer space, were used in the article .They were NSC5814、NSC5814/1、NSC5918. The main objects of Eisenhower Administration's policy on outer space was to narrow the gap in space technology between the United States and the Soviet Union ,to strive for military superiority, and to defend America's national security, to maintain its leading position in the areas of politics, economy, military affairs and finally to serve its global strategy. The policy was the result of Cold War and as a result, it had great and far-reaching effects.
