Abstract

Network attached storage (NAS) is a kind of special data storage server, and can provide a reliable, convenient and cost-saving storage network solution for enterprises. Its automatic performance regulation and advanced data management capability can reduce costs, improve data availability, simplify manipulation and provide flexible information management for customers. This paper describes the definition, function and features of NAS, and describes its application in the local area network (LAN) of a power enterprise.
