On Derrida’s Interpretations of Marxist Critical Spirit

Critical spirit has always been markedly Marxist.In the aftermath of drastic changes in Eastern Europe,socialist movements around the world sank into a low tide.Openly declaring that he took the right time to pay tribute to Marx,Derrida,in a highly valuable vein of historical critiques against tide,comes to define the Marxist critical spirit as the essence of Marxism.It subsumes two aspects: Marxist critiques of capitalist society and Marxist self-critical spirit.It is fair to say that Marxist critical spirit constitutes a truly indispensable intellectual resource of our time.It is of much significance and relevance in contemporary conditions: it can be a most powerful ideological weapon for the contemporaries in their analysis and critiques of contemporary capitalist society.
