Abstract

Abstract:To establish an aging rat model and monoamine neurotransmitters change induced by β amyloid protein (β AP).. Methods: Twenty SD rats were randomly allocated to β AP group and control group. 10μg β AP was injected within hippocampal in ten experimental rats and equal quantity of normal saline was injected within hippcompal in ten control rats. It was estimated that maze test was for learning and memory function and square test was performed for searching activity and tensity in both groups after one week. Then all rats were killed and monoamine neurotransmitters was detected with high perfonmence liquid chromatography (HPLC) Reuslts: It Was significantly damaged for learning, memory function and searching activity in experimental rats compared with control rats (P0.05 or P0.001) Although it was significantly declined for 3 methoxyl 4 hydroxy phenylalycol (MHPG) and 5 hydroxyindoleacetic acid (5 HIAA) in experimental rats compared with control rats (P0.01), it was no significant difference between experimental and control rats for homovanillic acid(HVA). Conclusion: It was more successful Alzheimer disease animal model for aging rat model induced by β AP.\;
