A review about the relation between nationalism and patriotism

Nationalism is now a hot spot of research in the academia, and many investigations on nationalism will inevitably involve in patriotism more or less. Some scholars consider that nationalism is just patriotism, while some insist on that they're quite different, and some others think sometimes they're superposed while sometimes they're different. Most scholars are unclear about these two different terms and use them without distinguishing. In view of this situation, the author made a brief review about the relation between nationalism and patriotism.
