Abstract

Jackknife study was conducted along two different perspectives:(1) applied to reduce bias;(2) applied to variance estimation. This paper discussed variance estimator based on the jackknife in PPS sampling, and got a conclusion that E{v(^/θ)} equal to the unbiased estimate of variance.
