Abstract

The indoor results of comparative toxicity determined by the mixture of acephate and imidacloprid showed that co-toxicity coefficient of the optimal ratio on paddy borers was 169.60 and its effect was synergistic. The two-point efficacy trials on the major rice pests in the field showed that the control efficiency of 50% acetyl topiramate WP 1 500 g·hm-2 against Chilo suppressalis in two points were 97.1% and against Cnaphalocrocis medinalis was 88.9%.Its the control efficiency on planthoppers reached more than 90% at 15 days after application. These results demonstrated that the mixture has better control of rice pests and the product is suitable for spreading applications.
