On the Hermeneutics of Historicism

In the 19~(th) century,along with the romanticist hermeneutics,there was also the historicist hermeneutics.The important link between them is the hermeneutical circle.Besides that,affinity of them manifested the relationship and the coherence among the members.The thoughts of Bockh,Droysen and Dilthey represented an important characteristic of the hermeneutics of the late 19~(th) century in that they all gave prominence to its connection with the humanities.It was gradually established with the development of the historical consciousness.However,they,especially Droysen and Dilthey,ultimately did not cast off their historical limits.
