Abstract
Network coding has emerged as a technique to increase network capacity and improve the robustness of network by allowing the forwarders take part in processing the data not only forwarding the data packets.In this paper,we firstly introduce the basic idea of network coding,then describe many kinds of transmitting way based on network coding and point out the main advantages and disadvantages of network coding in these applications from the view of delay and reliability.In the end,the directions and future works are summarized.
