Abstract
General composition,main characteristic,outstanding superiority and recent research progress of metallocene catalysts are introduced.Some olefin polymers synthesized by metallocene catalysis technology such as polyethylene(PE),polypropylene(PP), syndiotactic polystyrene(sPS),metallocene cycloolefin polymer,metallocene ethylene-propylene rubber,metallocene ethylene-octene copolymer and so on are described in detail.Those metallocene polymer posses better properties and wider application fileds than that of traditional polymers. Syntheses of these materials which are prepared difficultly by traditional catalyst are easy by metallocene catalysis technology.Metallocene catalysts are replacing traditional catalysts in syntheses of olefin polymers.Metallocene catalysts are very rapidly increasing in the world, and have wide application and market prospects.
