Abstract

In areas where the groundwater depth is shallow, the groundwater evaporation affects the grawth of crop greatly. Based on the analysis of groundwater evaporation, available precipitation and irrigation water during various period, the equations of available groundwater evaporation coefficient as well as the amount of water needed by wheat in different season were developped. So we may determine the amount of irrigation, make full use of groundwater, and save surface water resources.
