Abstract

This paper deals with concept and present study situation of extensional structure,basic features and genetic mechanism for Meso-Cenozoic extensional structures in Samai region,Inner Mongolia.The Meso-Cenozoic basins in the region was formed by NWW-SEE extension of crust which is characterized by episodic evolution.
