Abstract

From the critical functionalism,the paper introduces the three stages of the architectural career of German architect Oswald Mathias Ungers,points out the Ungers' viewpoint on the urban design,the rational order will be led on the basement of the sound maintenance variety of cities,regionalism,and historic continuity,so as to make the internet-led order back to cities and become a part of environment.
