This essay attempts an anatomy of《Win Xin Diao Long·cheng qi》Liu Xie maintained that the value of literary works existed in their political function.So he firmly believed that a good author should be a good statesman.Although this theory is the Chinese literary tradition,it is not totally right.This essay analyses its validity and errors.
