Abstract
Rock burst type in Datai Well belongs to a mixed stress type that the surface rock breaks up,bursts and ejects. The rock burst break intensity will be stronger with the increasing of excavating depth. There is a critical depth for rock burst to occur. The factors affecting rock burst are complex, including underground stress, construction and property of rock, excavating depth, shape and size of chamber, structural geology, geomorphology and man-made explosion etc.Hard rock and integrated structure in Datai Well are basic factors of rock burst.Deep excavation, high stress, sharp slope of coal seam, special structural geological condition, high horizontal stress and constructive stress are important factors.
