Observation of curative effect of miconazole and lactobacillus on vulvovaginal candidiasis treated

Objective To discuss the curative effect of miconazole and lactobacillus on vulvovaginal candidiasis treated.Methods 240 cases of vulvovaginal candidiasis from the out-patient-department of our hospital during March 2007 to December 2007 were divided into two groups randomly;the study group(120 cases) treated with miconazole and lactobacillus,while the control group(120 cases) treated with miconazole only.The curative effects,relapse rates and untoward reactions of the two groups were compared.Results There was no significant difference between two groups in curative effect(P0.05),but the relapse rate in study group was lower than that in control group(P0.05).The patients treated with lactobacillus did not come forth bad untoward reaction.Conclusions Miconazole,combined with lactobacillus(Ding-Jun-Sheng) which regulates vaginal dysbacteriosis,can effectively reduce the relapse rate of VVC.
