矷n this paper,the situation of GIS system implementation is simply analyzed.To apply GIS successfully,several practical problems are discussed.Main discussion includes:GIS application paradigm,the relationship and distinction among GIS、cartographic database and computer-aided mapping,data standard,data quality control and non-technical factors etc.And some reasonable helpful pieces of advice and methods are proposed. 〔
