The Present Situations and Countermeasures of College Students Sports Competition Systems

In 1986,the former Sports Ministry and Education Ministry made the decision to establish sports teams of high levels at common colleges at a meeting held in County Ye,Shandong Province.Since then,the sports competitions at college have developed quickly and have obtained remarkable achievements during the past twenty years.However,in the meantime,some problems appeared:the relative imperfection of the college students competition system,the truth of the athletes' qualification,etc.,which not only hinder the promotion of college sports competition level,but also affect the development of the national competitive sports.This paper,through various methods like literature material,expert interview,questionnaire survey,comparison research,statistics,puts forward some important theoretical problems and aims to provide theoretical bases for promoting China's college competitive sports,and to explore a new development course.
