Reflections on Liu Yuan's Strategies to Win over the Han Nationality

Abstract

In the late Western Jin dynasty,the Hun nationality was influenced by the Han;it gradually developed its economy from pastoral economy to farming economy,its social organizational structure was accordingly changed.In the meantime,increasingly worsening social conflicts sent the Western Jin dynasty toppling.Uprisings waged by the and minorities emerged one by one.One Hun aristocrat named Liu Yuan availed himself of The Rebellion of Eight Princes of the Western Jin dynasty,upheld a banner of Han Dynasty Rulers as His Ancestors for the Foundation of a State to fight against the Jin with his troops.Looking at this historical event from history and ethnology,and Liu Yuan's life deeply influenced by the culture,we can infer that Liu Yuan had a strong culture identity orientation of the culture.
