Abstract
Microemulsion polymerization was studied. After the reaction conditions were optimized, the microemulsion polymerization of styrene was earries out in the presance of sodium dodecyl sulfate or hexadecyl trimethyl ammonium bromide) n amyl alcohol water. The effect of initiator species and dosage to relative molecular mass of production were studied. The obtained product was compared with that of synthesized by suspension polymerization. Ploystyrene with relative molecular mass between 10 5 to 10 6 was thus synthesized by microemulsion polymerization.
