Abstract

Multiple myeloma is a malignant tumor derived from plasmacytoid lymphocyte. An increased risk of VTE may occur in patients with multiple myeloma. The risk factors for VTE are high fixed state of blood, age, history of VTE,obesity,c omplications, centralvenous catheter, therapy with immune adjustment drug or multidrug chemotherapy.A study shows that incidence of VTE may decrease after prevention by receiving prophylaxis of venous thrombosis during treatment with drugs.
