Abstract

The dynamic characteristics of Muchang valley is forecasted.The valley can form small and medium-sized debris flow,and the availability of the source is about 14×104m3.If we calculate according to 2% frequency of the debris flow,the discharge peak value is 58.43m3/s,the dash power of whole debris flow is 6.52×104Pa,the largest single block impact is 199.74×104N,total debris flow volume is 18 510m3,the gross amount of solid material is 6 571m3 in one debris flow.
