Abstract
Objective:To explore the related factors of mother-to-child vertical transmission in pregnant women with hepatitis B virus(HBV) infection. Methods:The data of 260 pregnant women with HBV infection were analyzed retrospectively, the relationship between HBV markers in umbilical blood of neonates and their mothers was observed.Chemical luminescence method was used to detect HBV markers before pregnancy, then the HBV markers in umbilical blood of neonates after birth were detect by immunological method. Results:The positive rate of hepatitis B virus surface antigen(HBsAg)(and/or HBeAg) in umbilical blood of neonates whose mothers were found with positive HBsAg was 34.23%(89/260),and the positive rate of HBsAg(and/or HBeAg) in umbilical blood of 58 neonates whose mothers were found with positive HBsAg,HBeAg and HBcAb was 82.76%(48/58),while the positive rate of HBsAg(and/or HBeAg) in umbilical blood of 202 neonates whose mothers were found with positive HBsAg,HBeAb and HBcAb was 20.30%(41/202).Among 89 HBV infected neonates,44 neonates were born by vaginal delivery and 45 neonates were born by cesarean section. The positive results of HBV antibodies in neonates were the same as the positive results of HBV antibodies in their mothers. Conclusion:Positive HBeAg is an important factor in mother-to-child vertical transmission of HBV,cesarean section can't reduce the positive rate of HBsAg(and/or HBeAg) in umbilical blood of neonates whose mothers are found with positive HBsAg.Nearly all the HBV antibodies of neonates are from their mothers.
