Abstract
The difference of glucosinolate content of individual plants was very significant, with a CV of(31.43%.) The glucosinolate content of seeds from different branches and position of same plant was also different. The seeds from main inflorescence contained significantly higher glucosinolate than those from branches, and seeds from the top of branches contained significantly higher glucosinolate than those from the base of branches. The glucosinolate content of seeds from different primary branches, however, was not significately different. This research note also discussed the variation of glucosinolate content in individual plants and the selection effect.
