Abstract
Grassland in North China is a very important eco-economic system. In this paper, the research of the carbon cycle in the grassland ecosystem in Inner Mongolia was systematically summarized, involving the plant, the litter fall and the soil carbon pool,as well as the effect of human activity and CO2 enrichment on carbon cycle in grassland ecosystem.Additionally, some unsettled issues of carbon cycle in grassland and the related key research emphasized in coming future were discussed.
