Abstract
670 t/h boilers in Jiaozuo Power Plant burn anthracite and lean coal with low volatile matter,the main problems existing in operation were poor burning stabilizing capability and slagging etc.For this reason, the horizontal concen.trated pulverized coal burners were employed to retrofit the original burners.The paper gives the design and operation parameters of new type burners and louver pulverized coal concentrator.After retrofit of burners, long-time st6ady operationwithout burning-aid oil at 50% load of boiler was achieved, with combustion efficiency of boiler improved and without influence of slagging on operation observed.
