Abstract
The innate immune system recognizes pathogen associated molecular patterns through a series of pattern recognition receptors. As important pattern recognition receptors, peptidoglycan recognition proteins, which are highly conserved from insects to humans, can recognize peptidoglycan and peptidoglycan containing bacteria and have important functions in recognition and regulation both in innate and adaptive immunity.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
