Abstract
A new method of solving electromagnetic potential equations for general gauge is given. The solution problem of the rotational field operator equation can be transformed into solution problem of a scalar field equation,and hence electromagnetic potential equations for general gauge can be transformed into two indepedant scalar field equations.
