Abstract

Objective To investigate the levels of CD69,cytokines IL-4 and IFN-γ on T cells from peripheral blood of patients with different courses of condyloma acuminate (CA) in response to in vitro stimulation, and compare it with that in normal. Methods Before and after cultured in vitro for 6h,the whole blood from the control group, the short course (SC 6 months) group and long course (LC≥6 months) group were stained with CD3 and CD69,or IL-4 and IFN-γ after the mononuclear cells were separated by lysing the red blood cells, the rates of expressing CD69,IL-4 and IFN-γ on CD3 + T cells were detected by flow cytometer. Results The expression level of CD69,IL-4 and IFN-γ showed slightly different between the three groups without stimulation(P 0. 05) . The expression rates of IFN-γ of LC group were significantly lower than that of the control group and the SC group (P 0. 05) . There was no significant difference of the expression rates both of CD69 and IL-4 between the three groups (P 0. 05) . Conclusion The T cells from peripheral blood of CA patients can be activated as quick as that of the normal in response to in vitro stimulation. Th1/Th2 imbalance may be involved in the persistence of CA.
