Abstract
The solid superacid SO42-/ZrO2 catalyst was prepared and used for the synthesis of cyclohexanone ethylene ketal by ketalization.The effect of molar ratio of cyclohexanone to ethylene glycol,reaction time,catalyst amount,amount of the water-entraining agent and calcination temperature on the ketalization reacation had been investigated.The optimum conditions are as follows: molar ratio of cyclohexanone to ethylene glycol is 1∶1.5,the quantity of catalyst is equal to 0.5% feed stock,cyclohexane as water-entraining agent,reaction time is 60 min,solid superacid SO42-/ZrO2 is a good catalyst for synthesizing cyclohexanone ethylene ketal and its yied can reach 84.7%.
