Abstract
There are complicated associations between political parties and election, democratic election is legal way for the modern parties to get the power. Election is the main motivation to push political parties to develop. But without the participationof political parties, election will not proceed so smoothly. This paper will analyze and discuss the reciprocal relationships between political parties and election from three aspects: the origin of political parties, the effects of political party on election, and the influences of election on political party.
